Here is our recap vid from round 1. 4th was a good finish but I’m kinda bummed too I guess. I feel like I have a solid chance of winning that event and with some practice time jn the car before the event maybe I could have. Still felt good to out qualify 45 drivers with 4 runs in the car ever.
The vid style is a little different than our normal stuff but it was a cool story so we had to tell it. Who knows what Atlanta will bring.

2009, brought the heat. 2010, rocked on. 2011 was the final countdown.
Really pumped on how the video came out. I listened to this song all 2010/2011 winter thinking about a year end recap to this song. Nate did a super killer job, it’s definitely my new favorite video from him/ drift party.

2011 was a memorable year with a lot of awesome adventures and big ups and downs through the season. My goal was to establish myself as one of the top drivers in the series and I think I did that. 6th place overall finish, 2 podiums, 1 first place qualification, won hardest charging driver, most improved driver, and best style, all while being the youngest driver in the top 16. Big thanks to all my sponsors and friends for helping me get this far. Special thanks to Forsberg, JTP, and Dmac for awesome battles.

So. I have a new shell for this year. It’s at GTI right now getting prepped. I also got to drive for the first time since I was in china the end of October. Felt pretty good to go drive again and shake the bugs off. It’s weird how fast you get acclimated to drifting even after 4 months. I won’t have to steal too much stuff off my old chassis for the new one so I’m hoping/planning on turning it into my demo/practice car. Do more just drift type eventoo with it too and do tandem with my friends and other up and coming drivers without having to worry about my comp car.

I’ve been redoing my portfolio for this year. One section I had was fan examples. I pretty much determined that I have the raddest fans and I just wanted to give you all a shout out. I’ve been feeling a bit worried about 2012, but focused, and going through a lot of photos on Facebook from fans really stoked me out. I see a lot of my “fans” more as friends and I’m stoked to have such cool people backing me. I even ask some of you for insight and opinions on things. Thanks for having my back, see you at long beach!!

I’ll try to post more in the new year. Think it’s time to upgrade to an iPhone or something so I can have a wordpress app on the go. Also thinking a site update on a small scale might be needed. Anyways here is a carrot cake i made last night. I’ve been kinda into cooking lately. Trying to cook “healthy”ish too. This is a raw recipe, I made it in the blender haha. It’s sweetened with honey, raisins, and peanut butter. No added sugar, kinda cool. My mom used to make me cook once a week as one of my chores when I was a kid and I hated it. Now I’m ok with it.

My friend gave me this for Xmas haha
